ONCORELIEF

Thanks to advances in medical treatment chances to survive cancer have increased over the last decades significantly. Given this situation, research and innovation are needed to monitor and assist post-treatment cancer patients and increase their level of well-being.
The ONCORELIEF project, financed by the European Commission, aims to bring together latest research, technology and medical expertise from leading European companies and research organizations to address the post-treatment needs of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia amd Colorectal Cancer patients.

Under ONCORELIEF, a guardian monitoring and decision system will be developed. As a hardware and software firm with particular focus on digital health, MCS will develop the sensing system for Guardian, the core driving technological engine behind ONCORELIEF. Sensors will collect data about the health of a patient and be paired with other information that is available or can be provided by the patients themselves. MCS’ development works include the technical architecture, selection of sensors, constructing the

sensing hardware and software system, and supporting in other project tasks from needs definition to participation in a pilot study. Download ONCORELIEF press release.
